The CVCHS Ugly Eagles defeated the Freedom High School Falcons handily in a four set, preseason match-up.
The Eagles prevailed in the first, third, and fourth sets to take the game. The Falcons clinched only the second set, winning 25-12 with the widest margin of any set that night.
CVCHS sailed to victory in the fourth set 25-12. By contrast, the Falcons narrowly lost the third 25-23 and the first 25-16. Libero Cody Limming managed critical defense while outside hitter Joey Postlethwaite and setter Zach Berg went on the offensive to score for the Eagles.
