The game clock read 0.0 seconds for several minutes as the Ugly Eagles mounted their final offensive against the Turlock Bulldogs, but the final untimed play failed to net points and the game went to the visitors 35-33 for a third consecutive home loss.

The CVCHS defensive line muscled two offensive possessions out of the Bulldogs within the last five minutes, and a defensive penalty on Turlock later extended the game. However, the Bulldogs held strong through overtime to hold CV off the scoreboard.

By contrast, the Eagles started strong with a rush to the end zone less than fifteen seconds into the first quarter. The second touchdown was a struggle for CV, but after mustering a brief tie in the third quarter, they once again fell behind due to unsuccessful field tries. The Eagles scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter under pressure, but unaccompanied by field goals, Turlock secured a two-point win.

Turlock can boast a hard-won away win, though Clayton Valley has to lament several injured players, including the starting kicker, in addition to their loss.
