The Talon is Clayton Valley​'s own student-run news organization.  We are dedicated to bringing to light stories around campus to help keep students and staff informed.

The Talon was founded during the middle of the Covid-19 Pandemic in 2020 with a goal to be a reliable source of information for the community and campus.

​

The Talon and CVCHS are partners with CC Spin, a Contra Costa County network of high school journalism programs.
